LSS Arch 1.2.3

This minor update contains a couple of new interesting features and some important fixes. Chart above shows key new features.

New Features

New features introduced in version 1.2.3 are:

  • ability to adjust alignment of end faces of 'linear' object types (wall, beam)
  • ability to make segments of object's contour curved
Positive side effect of the first feature is that new version provides clearer result of a spiral beam generation. Here is a comparison of previous and new version:

Version 1.2.0(1.2.3)

Ability to make curved segments allows to model objects of a complex shape much faster in contrast to tracing a curved contour vertex-by-vertex. All contours may have curved segments including beam's profile contour or clipping contours of mesh or grid objects.
Current version provides two types of curves:

  • arc curve
  • Bézier curve

Fixes

First of all a bug reported after version 1.2 publication, which prevented work of a beam tool when a custom profile is selected, now fixed.
Another important fix provides cleaner geometry of mesh object, when numerous clipping contours are enabled. And beam sub-objects which are attached to such mesh object now also have accurate geometry.
